I was recently alerted, by a post on Hi Fashion, to the top 30 fashion blogs published by Wikio. The list includes the monthly rankings for the most influential blogs in the UK and Irish blogospheres.
It is great to see so many of my favourite fashion blogs and lovely blogger friends on the list, also [...]

I was a bit frazzled after LFW to say the least. Nay, I was even more frazzled before. T’was a befrazzled period. Anyhoo, what kept me going was knowing I’d be ‘chillaxin’ (©: Mike & Karoona) at Kikoh Reiki shortly afterwards. Kikoh is an oasis of calm for busy urbanites. Based within the Ranelagh farmers’ [...]

Mark Badgley and James Mischka showed some gorgeous red-carpet-worthy gowns at their Tuesday morning show at Bryant Park. Included were some gorgeous column gowns, and a charming little gold confection made of what looked like a series of connected peony blossoms. Here’s hoping that next winter is as bleak and cold as this winter is turning out to be. That’s because the Rag & Bone collection that was sent down the runway last week was nothing if not practical. It all looked toasty, and a couple of plaid pieces almost – do I dare say it [...]

The Nicole Miller Fall-Winter 2010 collection presented at New York Fashion Week last Friday showed that black is the new black. Color was rare to non-existent, and evoked some of the things about the 80s before fashion went berserk. There was a lot of texture, lots of pleating, wrapping, ruching, and asymmetry.
The collection was very [...]

I love finding new niche labels I can sink my cash into! My latest love is Sydney’s Maurie & Eve. Stocked @ Urban Outfitters, the baby Aussie brand (only six years old!) combines cutesy separates with a tough girl edge like this rockin’ fringe dress (€183). This is 100% Studio 54 with fluorescent lights. [...]
